Your Personal Trainer reviews your medical and exercise history, clarifies your goals, tests your strength, endurance and flexibility and recommends a customized workout plan. From there, you have options! You can choose to work one-on-one with your trainer on a regular basis, or following a recommended routine with occasional check-ins.

Susie De Lucia

Personal Trainer

Susie (Sanfilippo) De Lucia is an ISSA certified Personal Trainer with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, along with spin and Barre certifications too. Growing up, Susie was a ballet dancer with the Royal Academy of Dance, so movement was a big part of her earliest memories. A mother of 4 boys Susie is passionate about leading by example and living a healthy lifestyle. Susie cares deeply about her clients; there’s nothing of more value to her than helping somebody go through an experience that makes them happy, confident, and strong. Working one on one and helping her clients achieve their fitness goals is what she always strives for. Her methods seek to improve key fitness indicators such as strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance while also reconnecting clients with natural skills and patterns of movement that tend to deteriorate as a result of the current world’s demands.

Bryan Smith

Personal Trainer

Bryan moved to Ontario from New Brunswick in 2003 and found his place helping others as a personal trainer. He quickly became obsessed with everything anatomy. While owning a local gym for 10 years, he spent his time presenting seminars throughout the GTA on injury rehabilitation and movement imbalances, while also writing a book on sitting and the issues that we face as a population of desk workers. He's traveled across Canada to consult with gym owners and the problems they face, and hopes that through education through movement, we can stray away from the traditional medical model of injury rehabilitation and prevention. He spends his free time with his 15 year old daughter and plays way too much guitar.

Kevin Lincoln

Fitness manager

I have been passionately assisting clients for 17 years in the fitness industry, where I have always enjoyed encouraging my clients to pick heavy things up and place them back down with proper form! I also bring a background of competitive Muay Thai, and love helping any and all improve their strength, speed, power, and overall fitness and confidence through this fun, exciting form of fitness.

I began my fitness journey at 15 as a very overweight, unhappy 328 pound youth; in my first year, I lost 114lbs before transitioning to competitive Brazilian Jiu Jitsui and Muay Thai for the following 7 years, where I retired from competition and transitioned to life-based, muscle specific training. I have truly enjoyed watching my clients grow and change in all of the various ways people can in fitness, nothing is more fulfilling than helping all of my fellow gym-goers reach their goals and, in many cases, surpassing them onto goals that weren't even on the radar upon starting. I truly believe health is wealth, and dedicate a significant amount of my personal time to medical journals that are specific to strength training, muscle growth, and fat loss. Feel free to pick my brain anytime, but be prepared for me to not shut up about it for awhile after, as I truly love what I do and love imparting that knowledge onto others.

It is my job here to ensure all of our members receive the best advice and coaching our industry has to offer, and I have truly believe I have been able to build the best fitness coaching team you'll find here at The Gym on Locke. Keirsten Paynter

Behavioral Therapist and Personal Trainer

I am a behavioral therapist and personal trainer. My passion has always been
helping others to improve their mental and physical well-being. When I’m not
working, I’m travelling! My love for travel grows endlessly. I am a lover of all
things outdoors, and I am also a dog & cat mom, I love my fur babies!
I fell in love with fitness at a young age, I’ve always embraced the challenge it
presents. After pursuing my career as a social worker/ behavioral therapist - I quickly grew a love for fitness and I wanted to incorporate that love into my
professional career. I saw the chance to merge my social work skills with my love
for wellness. Soon after, passion met purpose and I became a personal trainer.
Now, I’m here to educate and empower others to become the best versions of
themselves.

Antoine Goyer

Personal Trainer

I started my fitness journey in high school as part of the track and field team. I specialized in short distance running, mid distance running and Hurdles. During my last semester, I took a kinesiology class that had a weight lifting component, which made me fall in love with lifting weights. I continued to work out during my post secondary until I got into Nursing school. Having dealt with illness and disabilities during my education, it became apparent that many ailments were preventable with diet and exercise. Healthcare is difficult to work in, and I want to do my part in preventing individuals from reaching such a place by helping them attain a healthy lifestyle. Currently I train to compete in bodybuilding, which has taught me many different techniques of attaining hypertrophy training, diet, and mobility, though my focus for my clients is to help them attain their goal and become their best self. My coaching style involves me using my nursing and science background to help individuals understand the impact of diet and exercise and using my personal lifting experience to assist in attain their goals.
